Andre Hayward
Andre Hayward is an incredibly gifted trombonist with the sound and clarity reminiscent of the late J.J. Johnson. His gospel-tinged approach is refreshing and will warm the hearts of anyone he contacts. He has performed with The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, The San Francisco Jazz Collective, The Clayton - Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, Roy Hargrove, Betty Carter, Joe Williams, Slide Hampton, John Lewis, Mingus Dynasty Big Band, Gerald Wilson, Kirk Whalum, Jimmy Heath, The Duke Ellington Orchestra, and Illinois Jacquet's Big Band. Hayward has served as jazz trombone professor at the New School of Jazz & Contemporary Music, New York University, New England Conservatory, Michigan State University, University of Texas - Butler School of Music, and the University of North Texas.
Felipe Brito
Dr. Felipe Brito is the Director of Jazz and Assistant Professor of Trombone at Southeast Missouri State University. Felipe has performed with Branford Marsalis, Robin Eubanks, Raul de Souza, Joe Lovano, Jorge Santana, Bobby Sanabria, Andre Hayward, and many other musicians, orchestras, and ensembles.
